Landing Forty Two is the UK’s highest dedicated events space, offering stunning views of the Thames and London skyline from its unique viewpoint over 500ft above the city streets through its floor-to-ceiling windows.
The award-winning 5000 square feet of pillar-free event space offers the perfect setting for conferences, product launches, client receptions, company parties and celebrations. Landing Forty Two benefits from an excellent production installation including full sound, LED lighting and AV, delivering a turnkey event solution for a wide variety of events for up to 300 guests or delegates.
Designed by Richard Rogers and owned by CC Land, the Leadenhall Building is 225m (737ft) tall with 48 floors. The commercial skyscraper, opened in July 2014 is informally known as “The Cheesegrater” because of its defining feature – a distinctive tapering shape. Design and engineering elements have been deliberately chosen to make efficient use of energy and resources.
Key to the building’s sustainability is its triple-layer glass ‘skin’. The outer layer of glass is separated from an inner layer of double-glazing by a cavity containing blinds that respond to the sun’s movement, keeping the building comfortably cool in the summer months
Landing Forty Two at The Leadenhall Building, 122 Leadenhall Street is situated in the heart of the City and just a few minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, Bank and Monument Stations. Access to the events floor is via the building’s glazed external facing high-speed lifts, which deliver guests to the venue in just over 30 seconds.
We have partnered exclusively with one of London’s leading event caterers, Moving Venue to deliver imaginative menus and excellent service to all events at Landing Forty Two. They have developed tailored made and competitively priced packages for Landing Forty Two. However, they are industry leaders in creative and innovative event catering so can work with you on a bespoke menu.
The hire fees include a dedicated Venue Manager and on-site Production Manager to operate the sound and lighting systems.
