EVENT- Corporate Summer Festival
For the past 4 years we have organised a corporate summer festival for one of the Sunday Times Best Companies to work for. Tasked to provide an affordable solution to thank their sales force, the event has grown in volume and style.
In a green space in Surrey, we created a village with a variety of event spaces, seriously glam tents, loos and showers for a three day festival and conference.
Day one: Guest arrived and checked into their Tipis to get ready in their fancy dress. The night kicked off with a fancy dress fashion show in the main marquee to select the winner of the best outfit followed by a delicious BBQ of smoky honey glazed sausages, Monterey Jack cheese burgers, lemon and thyme chicken skewers with a selection of delicious salads and sides.
The all night bar offered free flowing beer, wine, cider and soft drinks plus guests were able to order cocktails, desserts and ice creams from vintage vans. Entertainment was provided by two DJ’s and the best function Soul Band in the business! In addition we had separate marquees for karaoke and photo studio fun. Before packing everyone off to bed at 2.00am, we fed them a late night snack of croque monsieur and haloumi, houmous and rocket ciabattas.
Day two: After a full English breakfast the next day guest enjoyed a sports day and a well-being studio offering mini facials and massages with liquid refreshments from mobile coffee and smoothie vans. For lunch our chefs served Chicken and Vegetable Fajitas with Guacamole, Cheese, Lettuce, Sour Cream and Salsa. A Thai chicken and vegetable curry with all the trimmings was served for dinner followed by a movie night with popcorn, vintage sweets and soft drinks.
Day three: The clients were up early and after a continental breakfast, ready for a day of business. Our production team provided a blacked out marquee with a bespoke lighting and audio visual solution for the conference. Hearty baked potatoes, with a choice of chilli, beans, cheese and an assortment of salads boosted their energy for the final business session of the day then homewards.

Client feedback: The Events Architect have now organised our last four parties, each for between 300 and 450 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
