HMS President, London E1W

The HMS President, one of the UK’s last remaining WWI ships and was founded in 1918 as an anti-submarine Q-Ship.

In June 2012, HMS President was at the centre of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant hosting the Royal Family furthermore; HRH Prince Philip was attached to HMS President while based in London during WWII. The rich history of the boat also includes its association with the author Ian Fleming, who was attached to it during WWII as an intelligence officer. The HMS President considers 007 to be 'one of its own' as it was the 'spiritual home' of 007 in the original Ian Fleming novels

The HMS President spaces are perfect for corporate or private occasions, seasonal parties, weddings and indoor or outdoor drink receptions.

The boat occupies one of the most coveted positions in the heart of London, just downstream of Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, overlooking the entrance to St Katharine Docks. Permanently moored, HMS President has its own purpose-built jetty therefore offering a unique opportunity for your group to arrive by water.

DRILL DECK

The Drill Deck, with its historic Navy memorabilia, regal arches and serene view of the Thames provides an unusual and elegant setting for conferences, receptions, weddings and dinners. This blank canvas space is perfect for leaving your own personal stamp on your event - with exposed brick walls and fairly low-key decor you can turn the space into somewhere that's completely unique.

WARDROOM

The Wardroom, with stunning views over the Thames to Butler’s Wharf and up to Tower Bridge can accommodate a variety of functions. With glass doors all around, you will have Tower Bridge as the backdrop to your event. The doors open up to lead onto the decking for outdoor events

CLASSROOMS

The interconnecting classrooms, on the mezzanine over the Drill Deck can be partitioned for smaller meeting of up to 20 people or opened up to its full size for a conference for up to 80 people
