Opened spring of 2023, Birch (Selsdon) is an Hotel according to nature. We give you the space to go slow, go wild, and go forward. Helping you unwind, reconnect, and find moments for the memory bank. We’re caretakers of over 200 acres of nature and just 30 minutes from Central London providing an escape from the everyday. A space that bleeds green, stimulates connection, and sparks creativity.

Enjoy food that’s super seasonal, super tasty, and super duper. We grow a lot of our own food, and sustain and use livestock for our kitchen. With the Michelin-starred chef Lee Westcott in charge of all things flavour, we have a signature restaurant for something a bit special, and an all-day dining affair with space to spare. Oh and there’s a private room for celebrations and secret hideaways.

What was once a golf course is now one of London’s largest rewilding projects. A project that will revive the land, biodiversity and nature. We run a range of workshops focused on health and wellbeing. Sound baths, motivational talks, nature walks… This is Wellness 2.0. Taking care of mind, body, spirit, and soul.

Birch (Selsdon) boasts a pottery studio, screen-printing workshop, and an interactive kitchen to get creative in. Arcade and screening rooms to switch off in. A Lido, tennis court and The Wellness space with gym, yoga and spin studios and treatment rooms. Two restaurants and three bars for feasts and flavours. Meeting spaces and communal areas for working hard or hardly working.

We’ve given the Lido an Art Deco-inspired makeover and added a yoga deck to keep it company. Expect colourful patterns, shapes and styles with an anti-traditional elegance. Get your bathers on. It’s time to dive back into the 1930s.

Accommodation: Each of our 180 bedrooms and suites celebrate craft and nature, with bespoke artwork and wardrobes that are more like sculptures. Features we are particularly proud of include a carbon negative light cork floor, recycled linen curtains, wall lights encased in hand blown recycled glass, and furniture made with wood from our grounds
