Osea Island is located in the Blackwater Estuary, ten minutes from Witham train station. Trains go very regularly from Liverpool Street and the journey takes 40 minutes. The island is also accessible via river taxi, a 20-minute helicopter ride from Central London, or a twisting pebble causeway that becomes passable for four hours during low tide, offering total privacy

EVENT SPACES

The Bomb Factory. Host your conference or training in historic surroundings, while soaking up the quirky industrial ambience of this former World War I torpedo store.

Capacities: Theatre 700 / Dining 500 / Reception 1500

Power House. Built during the First World War to house the island electricity generating station. This lofty character space is a blank canvas popular for wedding ceremonies.

Capacities: Boardroom 180 / Dining 120 / Reception 250

The Shack. Another island remnant of the First World War naval base days of HMS Osea. The Shack oozes decadence and ramshackle charm, the ultimate after party venue for your event. This flexible space is used for corporate events and weddings alike.

The Coast includes The Captains House, The Manor House and two Manor Cottages – sleeping 54

The Village includes Cottages and Courtyard apartments – sleeping 52
