Hever Castle, Kent TN8
Hever Castle, Kent TN8
Hever Castle offers 700 years of history at the romantic double-moated castle once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. This unique venue offers splendid rooms with fine furniture, tapestries, antiques, an important collection of Tudor paintings and two prayer books inscribed and signed by Anne Boleyn herself.
In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring the Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
Today the Astor Wing together with the Guthrie Pavilion in the Italian Garden and areas of the Castle itself are available for corporate and private events. Each venue has its own unique character and offers peace, privacy and seclusion in one of the most historic and beautiful settings in England.
With over 600 acres of glorious Kent countryside and a 38 acre lake to take advantage of, there is no finer historical venue to host a team building or activity day for your workplace than Hever Castle. Whether combining activities into a meeting or conference or whether it’s a full day of outdoor pursuits you are interested in, the Castle can surpass all of your expectations.
The recently refurnished 28 bedrooms are fit for a King and have been graded five stars by Quality in Tourism. Expect period colours, panelled walls and vaulted ceilings. Several rooms boast four posted beds and roll top baths. All offer luxury, antique furnishings and rich fabrics
Hever Castle offers a selection of beautiful spaces to choose from. This unique venue is the perfect setting for a small intimate gathering, a lavish party, wedding, summer and Christmas parties, team building or a corporate meeting.
