The building was originally designed in 1898, and today you’ll feel that history the second you step inside—from the marble as far as the eye can see to the original Zodiac mosaic at your feet. After an 85million refurbishment the fresh, comfortable interiors tip a hat to the building’s past without neglecting its present.

All of our eight meeting and event spaces and heritage listed ballroom have natural daylight and original architectural features, state of the art AV facilities, including green screen technology, adjustable lighting alongside all the 5-star services you would expect. The Ballroom has been restored to its original splendour. Today the grand Grade II heritage listed event space, which has a private entrance on Bernard Street, boasts original architectural details, a full wall of windows and a mezzanine gallery.
