Kensington Palace, still home to members of British royalty, is an iconic and historic setting for special events. With timeless elegance and storied past to charm and delight your guests, the Palace is available for a limited number of weddings each year, making it a unique opportunity to marry in one of London’s most exclusive wedding venues.

The state apartments, perfectly suited for princely celebrations are available to hire for the first time for weddings and civil partnerships licenced for ceremonies up to 150 guests. The state apartments can also accommodate 100 guests for dinner.

For larger celebrations, the Kensington Palace Pavilion is available on selected dates. The glass fronted Pavilion temporarily replaces the Orangery, which will re-open in 2021 following a major conservation and building project.

The Pavilion is situated in the beautiful gardens overlooking the famous sunken garden and east side the historic Georgian home. The structure is purpose built, flooded with light and offers a flexible space for a range of events. It features two main event spaces, with capacity for an impressive 800 guests for a standing reception across both rooms, and 300 for a seated dinner with the option of a separate drinks reception area.

The venue also benefits from a covered terrace area, making it ideal for receptions in all seasons and a first for Kensington Palace. The area around the Sunken Garden can also be utilised alongside the terrace for larger events.
