Vintners’ Hall, London EC4V

Description:

Vintners' Hall, London EC4V

Vintners’ Hall is a historical venue and the home of the Worshipful Company of Vintners’. With its origins steeped in the history of the City of London and the import, regulation and sale of wine, the Company maintains strong links with the wine industry. The hall is known as the “spiritual home of the International wine trade” and its current trade, social, charitable and educational interests, means the Company continues to play an important role in the 21st century.

Whether a meeting, lunch, dinner, wine tasting, Christmas party or any other special occasion, you can be assured of excellent quality of service and hospitality.

The Livery Hall is the centrepiece of Vintners’ Hall providing high ceilings, grand chandeliers, intricately carved wood panelling and gild cornices. All combined to create a fitting sense of majesty, echoed by the magnificent 17th century staircase that leads to the Conservatory and Drawing Room.

Capacities: Theatre 130 / Cabaret 120 / Dining 158 / Reception 250

The Drawing Room is located on the first floor of the venue and is part of the post-fire rebuilding in 17th Century. The room features a beautiful conservatory, providing plenty of natural daylight. The Drawing Room is ideal for a pre-dinner drinks reception and contains some wonderful artefacts from the Company’s history including the original Royal Charter.

Capacities: Dining 50 / Receptions 159

The Boardroom was designed as a meeting room in the neoclassical style, although it includes some baroque elements.  The room is perfect for private meetings, lunches and dining and you will have exclusive use of the terrace with its amazing views of London.

Capacities: Seated 24 / Standing 30

The Court Room is one of the oldest continuously used meetings rooms in the City of London. The greater part of the carving dates from the rebuilding after the Great Fire and this stunning room contains coats of arms, fine paintings and furniture.

Capacities: Seated 50

The Swan Room is part of the 1990s redevelopment and is in recognition of the Company’s association with swans.  It is designed to have an ‘outdoor’ feel and is often used for smaller wine tastings or committee meetings.

Capacities: Seated 24 / Standing 24
