Claridge’s, London W1K
Claridge’s, London W1K
There is nowhere quite like Claridge’s. The hotel, set in Mayfair, began life in 1856 and soon attracted royal notice. During the 1920s it became an English institution; an art deco landmark, loved by movie stars and statesmen, fashion designers and global dignitaries. To this day, we continue the dedication to service that made us a byword for luxury.
From intimate dinners to lavish banquets, private board meetings to full-scale movie premieres – the scene is always elegantly set at Claridge’s. Our experienced team will take care of everything – from pre-event preparation to last-minute details. It means you can relax, enjoy the moment, and focus on the things that really matter.
The Ballroom and its own private Brook Street entrance glimmer with art deco style. Over the years, this English Heritage-listed ballroom has played host to society weddings, state banquets and magnificent balls. After an extraordinary restoration, the Ballroom has returned to its original splendour including an authentic, three-tiered ceiling, concealing soft lighting that washes gently across the room. Chandeliers and mirrors have been hand-crafted to reflect the grandeur of the age, columns and pilasters have been re-gilded in delicate Palladian Leaf and striking art deco motifs adorn the carpets and curtains.
