Once a royal residence to King Henry VIII and Princess Elizabeth I, today Ashridge House is an award-winning meeting, events, and wedding venue. Set in 190 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, the House is located in Hertfordshire, only 30 minutes north of London.
With its Gothic architecture, grand, turreted façades and historic grounds, Ashridge House is a picturesque backdrop to host your wedding day. The rooms in the spectacular neo-gothic main house have a traditional, stately home feel with feature fireplaces and grand windows overlooking our beautifully landscaped gardens.
For board meetings, large conferences, team retreat or product launch, the venue offers a vast array of spaces including a series of modern developments to host a wide spectrum of events in over 50 rooms.
Fairhaven. Built as a modern extension to the original stables, Fairhaven is a large purpose built meeting room, which can be separated by a dividing partition. No pillars, natural daylight, private coffee lounge, fully equipped AV.

Brindley. The second largest meeting room is an unusual octagonal-shape, which suits all conference style set ups. The Brindley Suite, with its modern facilities, offers no pillars, natural daylight, private coffee lounge, limitless learning tech.

Repton Hall. Our magnificent dining room was originally a conservatory that connected the main house with the Chapel. This grand space easily transforms into the dining room of your dreams.

The Lady Marian Alford. The room boasts fluted columns of rose serpentine marble, marble fireplaces and an elaborate ceiling richly decorated in gold leaf, plus fantastic views of the South Lawn and Italian Garden.

Fernery. Created by Lady Marian Alford in the 1850s as part of landscaping additions that also included the Italian Garden, Rhododendron Walk, and a formal moat and skating pond. It is ideal for intimate ceremonies and elegant dining under the stars.

The Wyatt. Formerly the dining room, the Wyatt room's impressive Austrian oak panelling was introduced in 1863. The intricate plasterwork on the ceiling is based upon the design of the golden staircase in the Doge’s Palace, Venice.

Accommodation. We have 190 bedrooms on site, located in a modern extension near the main house, offering a calm escape. All guests at Ashridge House can enjoy the complementary use of the gym & pool including the jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, and bike rental.
